The summer is winding down and the kiddos are heading back to school soon which means vacations will be put on hold for the next few months. Have you ever just fallen head-over-heels for a particular item only for it not to be available in your size, but you buy it anyway? HeHeHe, this is exactly the case with this "oversized" blazer from Zara. I literally couldn't see my closet without this particular piece despite the realization that it was a wee bit too big...sadly, I bought it anyway! In an attempt to compensate for it being too big, I with for a pair of short shorts and a simple white tee paired with killer heels. Well, this is the result!   Hey, it happens...but trust, you will definitely see this jacket again and again and again! Perfect accent piece for just about any occasion!

  As the summer wraps up, it is long over due for a much needed chat session with a few girlfriends It is Houston Restaurant week(well, all month) and what better way or time to try out a few new spots and get/give a load of gossip?!?!?!?!? We tried out MR. Peeples downtown and considering I am a vegetarian and am into my third week towards a Vegan lifestyle, this probably wasn't the spot for me...and let me not forget to mention that they didn't have a gluten-free menu...so I probably won't re-visit on my own, but the company, atmosphere and the service more than made up for what I wasn't able to eat and I would definitely suggest this spot to anyone who should ask! :-)

There are just some days where I stand in my closet and fight the urge to scream " I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!!!" and in those panic riddled moments, I can't help but to grab for my one-stop-shop pieces. From Rompers to Jumpsuits to Maxi dresses, slip-on and go outfits are perfect for running errands! This Express romper(super old) went perfect with this hot pink Jessica Buurman bag I was carrying from last night and I pulled out these JustFab gladiator sandals to round out my look.
