Have you ever just fallen head-over-heels for a particular item only for it not to be available in your size, but you buy it anyway? HeHeHe, this is exactly the case with this "oversized" blazer from Zara. I literally couldn't see my closet without this particular piece despite the realization that it was a wee bit too big...sadly, I bought it anyway! In an attempt to compensate for it being too big, I with for a pair of short shorts and a simple white tee paired with killer heels. Well, this is the result!   Hey, it happens...but trust, you will definitely see this jacket again and again and again! Perfect accent piece for just about any occasion!

Happy Thursday Dolls! Are you ready for a long weekend? I sure am! This weekend is going to be all about relaxing and catching up with family, so why not start today?!?!? ;-) I am definitely more of a heels(the higher the better), but my hubby is trying to get me to rock more flats and I am trying! When I came across these beauties while clicking through Steve Madden, I couldn't help but pick them(notice I said "them") up for days and weekends like these! The Poppyy(sold out) is beyond comfortable and was available in this color combo; as well as tan/white and all black...perfect for casual days or running errands! Needless to say, these flat espadrilles will be in heavy rotation this season and next! ;-)

Happy Monday Dolls! How was your weekend?

Well Well Well, it looks like it may just be warming up....I am definitely not complaining considering longer cooler weather can only mean that the summer months are going to be dangerously HOT!!! I came across this sweat a while back and ti pretty much speaks for itself...CHIC HAPPENS...and I just couldn't pass it up! For some reason, today seemed like a flat sandal kind of day and since I am definitely NOT a follower of the outdated rule of "no white after Labor Day" I couldn't help but slip on these casually comfy jeans to compliment the sandals! If there is one thing I absolutely love it is my sunnies and these beauties by Michael Kors are AH-MAY-Z-ING and just what the doctor ordered(I may need them in white as well...what do you think?)!!!!

I'm not sure exactly what sparked my Sade inspired ponytail this morning(maybe it's because I literally look exactly like my mommy with my hair pulled back and I think it's the best thing ever...I get it from my momma!), but I just felt like slicking it all back and teasing the end...lol! And in keeping with the tail theme, I pulled out this studded peplum top and paired it with this nautical striped jacket.

Smiling...today's pictures were taken by the first man I ever loved...MY DADDY! He was definitely a picture taker(from what I am told) back in the day and I absolutely LOVE that he wants to get back behind the camera...and to take pictures of is baby girl no less! I think that's pretty darn sweet, don't you! Needless to say, my daddy is pretty awesome and I know that he will only get better with the camera and I can't wait to continue to be his muse(heck, I think I'm his muse at the moment...lol). Oh wow,  I almost forgot...today marks the start of my 3rd week as a vegan...time definitely has flown by and I honestly couldn't feel any better!

OMGOODNESS...I had to take this picture! Gluten Free Snacks station inside the Toyota Center...Freaking Amazing!


Yeah for date nights and loving husbands! Last night we went to the Toyota Center to watch our Houston Rockets take on(sadly, we lost) the Indiana Pacers. Such a fun night out. Considering I am always in heels, I definitely had a difficult time deciding on what to wear so I kept it simple with an all black outfit and colorful wedge sneakers(have I mentioned how much I LOVE wedge sneakers!!!). Then I tossed on the gold id necklace to add a small bit of sass to what could have been a "blah" of an outfit! Oh, and I couldn't help but snapping a picture of the Gluten Free snacks bar because it is so hard to find places that offer gluten free...especially at sports arenas! Any who, the night was nothing less than spectacular!
