  One of may favorite things about boot season is being able to take advantage throwing a faux fur vest on over a monochrome outfit and totally changing the look and feel! Over the weekend, temps dropped and despite my cold nature, I was in heaven as I stepped out for a ladies breakfast!

Happy Saturday Dolls! Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to RELAX and the best way to do that, for me, is by indulging in my love of sports! I found this old school Houston Rockets Warm-up at Marshall's countless years ago and I still love pulling it out every now and again...especially during basketball season! As for my hair, please excuse me while I am making the LONG transition to natural because I haven't quite yet learned what to do with my hair when I take out the extensions to give my hair and scalp a little rest...this fluffy mess of a bun is the result...shaking my head, I have got to do better! ;-)

Happy Tuesday Dolls!!!

Over the weekend, I met up with one of my oldest friends to celebrate the start of her birthday week with a ladies brunch and some much need girl time.

Needless to say, I literally can't wait for it to start feeling like fall so I can step into my favorite season with a smile. So, when the temps dropped just a little I couldn't help but to showcase my love of boots...especially over-the-knee boots! For brunch I kept it rather simple and paired these Aldo flat boots with a pair of faux leather shorts from Zara and an oversized belt to cinch the waist of this open front sweater.

For some reason, today seemed like a flat sandal kind of day and since I am definitely NOT a follower of the outdated rule of "no white after Labor Day" I couldn't help but slip on these casually comfy jeans to compliment the sandals! If there is one thing I absolutely love it is my sunnies and these beauties by Michael Kors are AH-MAY-Z-ING and just what the doctor ordered(I may need them in white as well...what do you think?)!!!!

Happy Tuesday!!

 

As always, I am a busy bee(as my loving hubby says) and today I definitely needed/wanted to give myself a break from heels...well, at least until night fall when another casting and meeting calls...so I went for a really simple tunic(worn as a dress today) and flip flops! I am not sure what it is about black and white, especially stripes, that I am always drawn to but there it is!  Last week I actually let my stylist try out a little ombre coloring ...what do you think? I know, it is definitely time to head back to the shop because the two-a-day sweat sessions are more than doing a number!

After spending the most of last week and into this week under the weather, it was really nice to finally get out and go to dinner with my handsome hubby...even if I wasn't feeling the best. For out impromptu dinner date, I decided to grab one of my go-to pieces, a maxi dress, and an over sized bag(this has literally become my go-to bag for the summer...review coming soon) while slipping on a pair of leather flip flops.

 

Before I forget, please send praise to my handsome husband has he finished his 10 juice fast today...I am so proud of him and the pride that he is taking in health...smiling, I like to think that I had a little something to do with that ;-)
