Shoe of the Week

These beauties need no introduction or identification...I have literally been waiting on these thigh-high boots for over a year! Even though the temps have started to rise, trust me, these will definitely be in heavy rotation ANY time temps drop and come Fall/Winter! :-)

ShoeGasam Saturday -ANN

If there is one thing I absolutely love(more than my gorgeous and adorable hubby) it is boots...I am literally obsessed and if I could rock knee high or over-the-knee boots all year round, I probably would! So, it comes as no surprise that I love Fall and Winter simply because of get to indulge my obsession with such ease and pleasure.

One of my favorite shoe sites, ShoeMint, as provided the ultimate excused to indulge in a little retail therapy in preparation for the cooler temps and her name is ANN!

Relaxed leather in black or brown with a knee high slouch and back zipper, Ann is ideal for running errands or meeting the ladies for brunch or even hitting up a few tailgating events with my own personal James Bond. I probably have way too many black boots, so I am going to probably pass on the black and skip straight to the brown.

Outfit Ideas? Pair them with the ever trendy denim-on-denim vibe that I flip for. Or, spice up your weekend staple of black leggings and black sweater with these in brown and toss on an animal print infinity scarf and you are sure to turn heads!

One of my favorite parts about Fall is I get to indulge my insatiable lust for boots! Last year, I was head-over-wedges in love with this boot but the cream was sold out before I could scoop them both up...this year, I snagged up the cream pair and I am overly anxious to wear them. Over the weekend, I met up with one of my oldest friends to celebrate the start of her birthday week with a ladies brunch and some much need girl time.

Needless to say, I literally can't wait for it to start feeling like fall so I can step into my favorite season with a smile. So, when the temps dropped just a little I couldn't help but to showcase my love of boots...especially over-the-knee boots! For brunch I kept it rather simple and paired these Aldo flat boots with a pair of faux leather shorts from Zara and an oversized belt to cinch the waist of this open front sweater.

Disclaimer: Wow, I didn't realize how bad the quality of these photos were until it was time to post them. LoL, low light, cloudy overcast, and night fall definitely do not make for the best posting pictures...smh

Last week, hubby and I had the pleasure of attending the pre-screening of the Jackie Robinson movie, "42"(you should definitely check it out on Friday...great date night movie) and since the weather had dropped I decided to give my faux fur and boots one last outing before the sweltering heat requires me to pack them away! I usually carry a blanket with me to the movies because I am always cold, but this vest definitely kept me warm!

This morning was a bit chilly which was the perfect opportunity to pull out a pair of comfortable boots(my insatiable obsession) and one of my favorite leopard print blazers.

I stopped by mom's to check on a few wedding details and had her snap these pictures. She truly is a natural with the Galaxy camera phone...smiling!
