Happy Monday Dolls! How was your weekend?

Well Well Well, it looks like it may just be warming up....I am definitely not complaining considering longer cooler weather can only mean that the summer months are going to be dangerously HOT!!! I came across this sweat a while back and ti pretty much speaks for itself...CHIC HAPPENS...and I just couldn't pass it up! I have worn it a few times and shared it on Instagram but it's making it's first appearance on Darnel's Desires!

Happy Saturday Dolls!

On yesterday, I met with one of an amazing new designer to pick up a fierce maxi skirt(an order two more...smh) and a one of my oldest friends for a business lunch and a much need girl time chat sessions. Texas temps are definitely killer these days and called for a must-do casual look both for comfort and in order to keep cool! Needless to say, my boyfriend jeans more than give me life on days like these...especially when girl time takes you outside to enjoy the rarely felt breeze that was flowing. One of my all-time favorite bags is definitely me my Louis Vuitton Speedy 30(I have this one and the dark brown monogram...and working the white to round out my collection) because from day to night and travel to play, this is a MUST HAVE and a GO-TO fall back that is perfect for everything! :-)

I have literally been in love with lace up sandals for ever but just couldn't find a pair that "spoke" to me...until ShoeMint introduced Romy(available in black and nude) and the connection was real! There is just something about lace-up sandals that scream S/S which is exactly what I need right about now. Prepare to see these beauties quite a bit over the next few months. Paired with skinnies(seen today), boyfriend jeans, shorts(skorts are back, so rock them 2!), skirts and dress for a instant bit of sass!  And need I speak on these  House of Dereon studded sunnies(gift from my mommy)? OMGoodness, I absolutely love them(I have them in red also...check back) because without even trying, they pump up your look and give you that "rockstar" staus kind of look and feel!

Last weekend, my gorgeous hubby and I headed to New Orleans for the Jazz Festival with three other couples for a quick weekend get away! This is what I wore for the road trip...very casual and comfortable yet perfect for dropping off our bags in the hotel and hitting the night life!

This morning I woke up without any idea of what I wanted to wear, so after checking the weather(possibility of rain with a bit of an overcast) I decided on this simple button up and a pair of comfortably worn-in jeggings that I simply cuffed for a different look. I stacked on a few of my silver bracelets(the more the merrier, right?), doubled up my new cross necklace with my Tiffany & Co. "I Love You" heart necklace, and added an over sized right hand ring for a bit of sass! I absolutely LOVE these ShoeMint pump with the gun metal detailing...perfect for just about any occasion or reason!
