I am literally obsessed with fall and the cooler tempatures(not sure why considering I am ALWAYS cold) because I can't get enough of the return of the borrowed from the boys style bomber jackets. There is just something about them...every color, texture, material, and design...that makes everything look a little more pulled together. Take is VERY casual and simple look for a day out shopping with my mom...I threw on an army green bomber and instantly the look is taken up a few notches! Please to bare with me this season as you will see tons of bomber jackets, oversized floppy hats, boots and feminie sweatsuits(all of which are on my Fall/Winter Must Haves this year)

Have you ever stood in the middle of your closet with a frustrated look on your face fighting the urge to scream..."I have nothing to wear!!!" This would be me on this very day and the only way to handle such a crisis is to slip into a one piece which is why I absolutely LOVE maxi dresses! This beauty was an online impulse buy a few years back that ended up being WAY to long, but isn't that why we wear towering heels and wedges...LOL! ;-)

The summer is winding down and the kiddos are heading back to school soon which means vacations will be put on hold for the next few months. To hold me over, I pulled out this old silk maxi dress from Arden B that more than reminds be of walking on the beach or strolling the streets on Puerto Rico and the Bahamas! There are just some days where I stand in my closet and fight the urge to scream " I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!!!" and in those panic riddled moments, I can't help but to grab for my one-stop-shop pieces. From Rompers to Jumpsuits to Maxi dresses, slip-on and go outfits are perfect for running errands! This Express romper(super old) went perfect with this hot pink Jessica Buurman bag I was carrying from last night and I pulled out these JustFab gladiator sandals to round out my look.

This past weekend was definitely one for the books and I am so glad the hubby and I got a chance to make the most of our time off! We made the 3 hour trip to Louisiana to spend the weekend with my side of the family and we had the absolute BEST time! relaxing by the pool, watching the kiddos enjoy themselves, fishing(I literally have about 30+ bites all over that itch like crazy), grown folk conversation and tons of laughter! Memories were made this weekend!  What did you do?

Happy Thursday Dolls! Are you ready for a long weekend? I sure am! This weekend is going to be all about relaxing and catching up with family, so why not start today?!?!? ;-) I am definitely more of a heels(the higher the better), but my hubby is trying to get me to rock more flats and I am trying! When I came across these beauties while clicking through Steve Madden, I couldn't help but pick them(notice I said "them") up for days and weekends like these! The Poppyy(sold out) is beyond comfortable and was available in this color combo; as well as tan/white and all black...perfect for casual days or running errands! Needless to say, these flat espadrilles will be in heavy rotation this season and next! ;-)

Happy Sunday Dolls! I hope your weekend was relaxed and you are ready for a productive week!  As always, hubby and I try to catch up on personal time; as well as, family time by lounging around the house on Sunday after church! This is the perfect off-the-shoulder look for relaxing. Give me an oversized sweatshirt and a pair of equally comfy sweats and I am a happy girl! Add a pop of color with simple accessories and call the weekend...DONE!!!
