Boots With The Fur

I'm Wearing:
ShopPrima Donna Hat
Express Sweater
Rachel Zoe Faux Fur Vest(old) (option)
Forever 21 Leggings(old) (option)
Aldo Boots (old) (option)
Zara Bowling Bag (old)

One of may favorite things about boot season is being able to take advantage throwing a faux fur vest on over a monochrome outfit and totally changing the look and feel! Over the weekend, temps dropped and despite my cold nature, I was in heaven as I stepped out for a ladies breakfast!

What Is Your Sleep Number?

Do you know?

This is my mattress...or at least it will be one day!!! My sleep number is 20 and I literally fell in LOVE with the M7 with the memory foam topping!

OMGoodness, I thought this was the cutest thing ever...the life size remote with all the bells and whistles for your mattress! Yes GAWD, I have to have one in my master soon! ;-)

This was my view as I rested while Michael, the sales rep, figured out my sleep number!

Ok, so what is all the hype surrounding the now "must have" and seemingly over priced Sleep Number Mattress? This has been my thought for quite some time...well that is until I was asked by Smiley360 to visit a Sleep Number store and try one out for myself and in exchange for my honest opinion, I would get my very own CoolFit Pillow. Needless to say, I tried it out and I am a confirmed believer in the sleep number! The price tag is definitely worthy of a triple take, but after actually resting on one, learning about all of the features, and realizing that the mattress has 25 year backing...the Price Per Sleep(PPS) is worth the small investment!

Before visiting the store I simply couldn't justify the alarming price tag for a mattress but now, I am more than convinced that me next mattress NEEDS to be M7 sleep number mattress. The memory foam is absolutely amazing and the options available for customizing your own mattress is so comforting and literally calls your name for bed. After sharing a few pictures and showing the catalog, several of my friends we excited and planned to visit the store after lunch to find their ideal mattress and personal sleep number! I'm sold...now to convince my husband

Bomber Jacket Casual

I'm Wearing:
Forever 21 Bomber Jacket
Target Pocket Tee
Express Zipper Leggings
UGG Tall Boots
Zara Bowling Bag
House of Dereon Sunglasses

I am literally obsessed with fall and the cooler tempatures(not sure why considering I am ALWAYS cold) because I can't get enough of the return of the borrowed from the boys style bomber jackets. There is just something about them...every color, texture, material, and design...that makes everything look a little more pulled together. Take is VERY casual and simple look for a day out shopping with my mom...I threw on an army green bomber and instantly the look is taken up a few notches! Please to bare with me this season as you will see tons of bomber jackets, oversized floppy hats, boots and feminie sweatsuits(all of which are on my Fall/Winter Must Haves this year)

Homies Halloween

I'm Wearing:
HOMIES sweatshirt (option) (option2)
Old Navy Sweatpants(old)
UGG Boots
RayBan Aviators
Zara Bowling Bag
Michael Kors Gold Watch

HAPPY HALLOWEEN DOLLS!
This is about as close to a costume as I have gotten since I was a little bitty girl and by the looks and feel of it, probably for a long time. I don't really have anything against this "holiday", it's just that I don't really get into dressing up and celebrating and since I don't have little ones, trick-o-treating isn't an option. But, for some strange reason I have been wanting and trying to get to a haunted house for the past few years and something always comes up...hmmm, guess it just isn't meant to be especially since I have never been...lol, shame! :-) Any who, enjoy your night out and be safe, remember to let your parents check your candy first, and don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Welcome to September...the absolute BEST month of the year! :-)
It's VIRGO SEASON...who's ready???

I absolutely LOVE mini dresses because they can be worn in so many different ways and they are the perfect way to show off the hundreds of squats I have been doing without making it too obvious...lol! Pair a mini dress with a great pair of gladiator sandals and you have a fool proof and simple look! These sandals from ShoeDazzle are freaking amazing and are a definite statement maker that are way too comfortable to be so stylish!

BoHo Maxi Chic

I'm Wearing:
Express Maxi Dress (old) (option) (option2) (option3)
Zara Bag (old)
ShoeMint Lace-Up Heels
GiGi New York Bracelets (c/o)
Dereon Sunglasses (gift)

Have you ever stood in the middle of your closet with a frustrated look on your face fighting the urge to scream..."I have nothing to wear!!!"
This would be me on this very day and the only way to handle such a crisis is to slip into a one piece which is why I absolutely LOVE maxi dresses! This beauty was an online impulse buy a few years back that ended up being WAY to long, but isn't that why we wear towering heels and wedges...LOL! ;-)

Oversized Stripes and Cutoffs

I'm Wearing:
Zara Blazer(old) (option) (option2) (option3)
Target Tee (option) (option2) (option3)
Blank NYC Cutoff Shorts (option) (option2) (option3)
JustFab Heels (option) (option2)
Jessica Buurman Bag
Plated Necklace (boutique find)
Ray Ban Sunglasses (here)
Michael Kors Watch (here)

Have you ever just fallen head-over-heels for a particular item only for it not to be available in your size, but you buy it anyway? HeHeHe, this is exactly the case with this "oversized" blazer from Zara. I literally couldn't see my closet without this particular piece despite the realization that it was a wee bit too big...sadly, I bought it anyway! In an attempt to compensate for it being too big, I with for a pair of short shorts and a simple white tee paired with killer heels. Well, this is the result!

Hey, it happens...but trust, you will definitely see this jacket again and again and again! Perfect accent piece for just about any occasion!

Ms. Cleo circa 2014

I'm Wearing:
Turban(beauty supply find) (option) (option2)
Target Maxi Dress (option) (option2) (option3)
Aldo Leather Flip-Flops (old) (option) (option2)
Zara Bowling Bag(sold out) (option)
Michael Kors Gold Watch (here)
RayBan Aviator Sunglasses (here)

Sometimes, accents(like this canary yellow turban and leather tote bag) are all you need to pull off that "pulled together" look even when you actually literally just pulled something out of the closet and was having a bad hair day(or worse, just wasn't in the mood to do hair). There is just something carefree and comfortable about a simple black maxi dress an flip flops that makes everyday errands seem less mundane and hassle free...especially when the temps are reaching triple digits on a daily basis and the last thing you want to do is to be engulfed in suffocating heat! ;-)

As the summer wraps up, it is long over due for a much needed chat session with a few girlfriends It is Houston Restaurant week(well, all month) and what better way or time to try out a few new spots and get/give a load of gossip?!?!?!?!? We tried out MR. Peeples downtown and considering I am a vegetarian and am into my third week towards a Vegan lifestyle, this probably wasn't the spot for me...and let me not forget to mention that they didn't have a gluten-free menu...so I probably won't re-visit on my own, but the company, atmosphere and the service more than made up for what I wasn't able to eat and I would definitely suggest this spot to anyone who should ask! :-)
