Happy Sunday!

 As always, my week starts with spiritual refueling on Sunday morning with my family and The Church Without Walls and Pastor Ralph Douglas West. Today, we were running a little late(but we made it), so I pulled out this old shirt dress from Victoria's Secret and paired it with these amazingly versatile lace up sandals and my favorite Louis Vuitton bag. Last week was my birthday and I was gifted with this gorgeous two-tone over sized Michael Kors watch and I am over-the-moon excited about it because I don't have to pick between my love of gold and silver and I can mix and match to my heart's desire!

 

Any who, the temps are slowly shifting which means I Fall weather is on the horizon...BOOT season is here and I just received an email about a certain pair of boots that are on the way to my doorstep...YEAH!!! Stay tuned for some major looks for my favorite season of the year!

Last night my wonderful husband surprised me, for our 6 month wedding anniversary, with a night out to listen to the amazingly talented Jonathon Butler for the Houston Jazz Festival and I wanted to be cute and comfortable...especially since I didn't really know what to expect! Happy Saturday Dolls!

On yesterday, I met with one of an amazing new designer to pick up a fierce maxi skirt(an order two more...smh) and a one of my oldest friends for a business lunch and a much need girl time chat sessions. Texas temps are definitely killer these days and called for a must-do casual look both for comfort and in order to keep cool! Needless to say, my boyfriend jeans more than give me life on days like these...especially when girl time takes you outside to enjoy the rarely felt breeze that was flowing. One of my all-time favorite bags is definitely me my Louis Vuitton Speedy 30(I have this one and the dark brown monogram...and working the white to round out my collection) because from day to night and travel to play, this is a MUST HAVE and a GO-TO fall back that is perfect for everything! :-)

For a casual work look I went with a flowy cream blouse over a pair of comfortable jeggings with back detailing(hard to tell from photos). To add a bit of shape, I went with a tan drape front and crop jacket. My absolute favorite bags are definitely my two Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bags that seem to just work for any occasion, so I grabbed this one and stepped into a pair of sick cut-out ankle strap shoes from Zara!

Today was all about casual business since I was slated for a few meetings (rescheduled for the weekend) since my loving husband surprised me with tickets to Rockets game tonight...YEAH for date night! Since the weather here in Houston has definitely taken a turn I decided to pull out one of my favorite pair of boots and work around them. There really is something simple yet professional about a simple pencil skirt and a button down blouse!
