Happy Friday Dolls!!!!
Sometimes a girl just needs to step out of her stilettos and into a great pair of sneakers....even if it is to ensure stability on a gloomy and rainy day! The past few days have been all about doom and gloom, but there is no better way to fight the rainy weather than with a random pop of color...insert these red converse sneakers. My husband bought these for me a couple of years ago because I didn't own a pair tennis(other than my workout pair) that I could just slip on and run errands...I love them and definitely need a few extra colors(hey, you can take me out of stilettos but I will never give up the need for options...smiling).

Go-Cart Crazy

I'm Wearing:
Bleulab Reversible Jeggings (here)
Forever 21 "Perfection is Overrated" T-Shirt
Red Converse Tennis Shoes
Zara Fold-Over Bag(old)
Michael Kors Mid Size Gold Watch
Diamond Tennis Bracelet(gift)

Disclaimer: my apologies for the bit of distortion in these pictures as there was so much going that we shot these with my Sprint Galaxy
This past weekend we celebrated our cousin's birthday with go-carts and dinner...needless to say, we all had a blast! I literally hadn't been go-cart racing in probably 10 or 15 years, so the chance to relive some childhood memories was pretty sweet! Sadly though, I only was able to race once because at 5'2" I could barely touch the pedals(they moved them a bit closer for me) and reaching the actual steering wheel was definitely another task in itself...lol! HaHa, one of the first things one of our friends said to me when we walked in was, "...I didn't know that you were that short..." which definitely seems to be the natural response from most when seeing me in flats for the first time. I am not much of a flats or sneakers kind of girl, but as of late my new hubby is guiding my away from my styling comfort zone and a whole new door of styling options have opened up...exciting!

Until next time, thanks for stopping by and as always...stay Fashionably Fierce and Stylishly Savvy!

Saturday Simplicity

Saturday was a very long, but productive day! In the morning, I worked as both a model and stylist for a magazine(title and release date coming soon) which was definitely a lot of work, but I truly enjoyed myself and can't wait for the relase party and pictures(the photographer let me see a few of my shots, and I love them!).
After the shoot wrapped and I was waiting for my car, I snapped this picture.
I am wearing: Drape Front Jacket(old) from Macy's
White Pocket Tee(old) from Gap
Zipper Leggins(old) from Forever 21
Ugg Boots(tall) in Black (these are definitely a life saver after a long day on set!)
Bag available here

Later that evening, I kept my look just as simple for a family dinner to celebrate my little(bigger than me though) cousin's last college football game!

I am wearing:
Kangol cap(old)
Zara Jacket(available here)
Target t-shirt(old)
Citizen of Humanity Jeans(old, but available here) that are beyond comfortable and worth the investment.
Red Converse(I am not much of a sneakers kind of girl, but I am loving these lately)
Bag available here
